Interview, Interview, I have an interview!
Ok, so it’s not for a teaching position, but it really sounds like the next best thing. I would be an art room assistant for a charter school for autistic kids. The school is 7th through 11th grade. I think it’s full time because the posting said full benefits package (sounds too good to be true). It pays about $7 more an hour than subbing would- benefits? Constant pay check? No license required? Again, too good to be true. And not to toot my own horn, but I’m severely over-qualified because the listing said “2 years of college preferred/experience with children preferred/experience with art preferred”. But hopefully that means that I have a great shot at getting this job! Not only would it be so nice to be at one school instead of hundreds this year, but it would also help me so much in getting a real teaching job next year. Say a lil prayer for me, I’m really excited!!!!!!!!!!
